Maysun In C is an Art Studio, specializing in Illustration, Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Art and Content Writing. We are based in Nasik, India, and work with clients around the world.
I'm Sonal Panse, artist, illustrator, designer and writer. I run Maysun In C together with my sister Kadambini Panse, who is a software developer and web programmer.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in History, a Master's Degree in English Literature and a Diploma in Fine Art. I'm currently studying Hindustani Classical Music - Vocal and Violin. My work experience includes writing over 1000 articles and blogs on a wide variety of topics, editorial illustration and children's book illustration, painting in oil, acrylic and other media, interface design and graphic design work, garden and interior design. I'm writing my first novel and working on a graphic art book.
Kadambini has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and a Master's Diploma in Software Engineering. She has developed a Social Workers' Information System for the Maharashtra TB Sanitorium, programmed this site and our upcoming sites Autumnsee, OctoberVine and The Vegetarian Indian. She is well-versed in web technologies (HTML, XHTML, CSS) and programming (JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, PHP, Java, Ruby). She is also an excellent photographer.
We always had multiple interests - with, in my case, a definite, longtime slant towards art, illustration, design and writing - and we thought it would be great if we could have a career or careers that took some of these into account. We discovered this is perfectly possible.
All you need is good organization, good time management, excellent focus, creative thinking, willingness to work, willingness to learn and adapt, attention to details, and clear ethics. And did I mention talent and passion? Yes, we have that too. ;-)
